To coincide with the anniversary of the day Ciaran was birthed into this world,my blog has undergone a rebirth of its own!

Happy Birthday, Ciaran,my fine Irish brother! Hope Tom made you a lovely meal. As you can see I've given the ol blog a bit of a makeover and I think it looks delightful. Clean, clear and crisp. Nice and shiny for your eyes.
I've finally put all the pics from mine and Nic's trip to Glasgow to celebrate the day she was birthed into this savage, beautiful, unforgiving world. They include our wonderful time living it up at the first ever Indian Summer music festival. Where we were privileged to witness glorious emotional performances from Hot Chip,Yeah Yeah Yeahs,Broken Social Scene,The Fall,Tapes n Tapes,Mr Scruff,Tilly and the wall and more.
I have plenty of pics to put on here from last weekends manic New Years festivities in Galway,Ireland. We had a brilliant time, I consumed as much Guinness as I could while I could, and got very little sleep in the process and as a result spent this weekend full of cold. But it was worth it. We drank and ate and laughed and talked and laughed and drank and ate and took lots of pics and danced and took the piss out of each other and laughed and drank and ate. It was wonderful. A few faces were dearly missed, Ryan,Kev,Jo,Penny,Sharon,Dave,Helen. But you were all there in spirit. Its been said before but up until the last day I still expected Dave to repel through the front window on one of those black ropes swat teams use. But alas it was not to be. Maybe next time...in Prague.
Anyway, hope everyones doin well in their respective towns and homes. I'm still a little behind on the phone calls home but I will get there soon. Hopefully.
The Galway pics will be up here shortly, so keep checkin in.

Bye for now:)

p.s I got Jason Colletts Idols of Exile album and the new Emily Haines album for Christmas, both are beautiful beautiful records. I've also stumbled upon Ramblin Jack Elliott, an old guy in the vain of Woody Guthrie who has a rough gentle voice and sings lovely songs of heartbreak and loss.
