A baby girl!!! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Pike!!!

Man alive, thats exciting! I'll have to start makin plans to come visit. I'm trying to think of a funny girls name you can derive from jeremy but I don't have enough imagination. Maybe Jeremieta?See,terrible. I'll give you guys a call this weekend.
So we got back from another st Paddys weekend in Dublin Monday afternoon. I called in sick all weekend so I could go and now I've been struck down with another cold. How ironic. Its my fourht cold in as many months. Something tells me working 60 hours a week on very little sleep isn't doing my health any favours.
Dublin was great though, well worth another cold. Don't tell the Irish this( their egos are big enough as it is),but you really can't beat Irish hospitality. They're a friendly bunch a bastards. We arrived Thursday night about 11:30 pm and were in the pub by 12:15am. Guinness in hand, smiling from ear to ear, dancing and singing to Fairytale of New York in the most crowded pub I have ever been in. It was a spectacular and fitting start to the weekend. Friday was more of the same. Saturday we watched the Ireland v England rugby match that ended in a spectacular Irish victory!
Anyway, lots of photos were snapped and I'll get some on here soon. I just wanted to thank my Irish friends in all seriousness for everything. You guys always go way way out of your way for me and I can't tell you enough what it means to me. Keith and Tomas especially.
I won't even get started on all the protests that have started over here against the seal hunt.
Ummm,so yeah,I'll try and call people over the weekend,I know I always say that but this time its for real!!
Talk to you soon:)
Heres some music for ya'll to check out: Danko Jones-Sleep is the enemy.
Brakes-Give Blood(especially the song All night disco dance party)
Be your own pet-self titled
Yeah yeah yeahs-show your bones
Black Mountain-self titled
and finally
Mr Scruff-Keep it unreal.

Too much music,too little time.

Later skaters.

I love the beatles, but please Mr McCartney, get the hell out of Newfoundland.

They pose and smile and plead in their shiny red winter coats, and look down on an entire province of people. But what does Paul McCartney and his wife really know about the seal hunt?
